A Thoughtful Sasquatch

I just finished this Sasquatch yesterday. He was very fun to make and once he was all stitched up, I was very happy to get to know him a little bit. We spent some time together in the garden yesterday morning before he caught his train to Illinois  He is a quiet and thoughtful fellow and it was an absolute pleasure spending time with him. Forever curious and always up for an adventure, he really understands the value of taking the time to stop and smell the tulips, climb trees or just lay down in the grass, look up at the sky and daydream :)

  5. I really do have to thank you; I'm the recipient for this wonderful Sasquatch!

Truly, he's for my daughter. She'll be born around the end of summer and until her grand entrance we've nicknamed her "Momo" after "Momonga," the Japanese dwarf flying squirrel.

My oldest brother is one of the most beloved people in my life and I really hoped that he'd be able to give something to Momo that she'd love forever. When I saw the photos of the Sasquatch, I knew he'd been an ideal companion: someone trustworthy and steadfast, always up for adventure or tea parties, the perfect secret-keeper and confidant. I asked my brother to commission Sasquatch and he agreed, knowing the importance of a cherished and unique childhood toy.

Now that I've seen him (and repeatedly hugged him. He really is irresistible) I am absolutely certain he's the right man-beast for the job :)

Thank you for your care and your beautiful work.

  7. These pics of your creation are delightful! I tried to email you, but it failed and said your mailbox was full. I came across these pictures by doing a search for Sasquatch laying in grass. I was looking for examples to show a graphic designer for an album cover. My band name is Safeword Sasquatch and our album title will be Lay Me Down in the Tall Grass and Let Me Do My Stuff. I was wondering if you would let us use 2 photos for the front and back album cover. We would be happy to pay something for royalty free use. I would like to use the laying in the grass and smelling the tulip pics. There is a real energy and personality to your creation and these pictures. And they're so damn cute. Let me know.
